　　为了寻找一名离奇失踪的学生，两名私家侦探打开了他的家门，在当中找到了一沓VHS录像带。这些录像带记录下来了一些恐怖的内容，并让两个侦探意识到，在他失踪的背后存在着黑暗的动机。

这部比第一部更短，故事更少，但是成功率更高。甚至在四个主要的故事中没有一个“哑弹”，每一个都将恐怖的元素、死亡范的幽默和天马行空的想象结合到让人晕眩的地步。
